This is my favourite healthy chocolate smoothie, the secret ingredient (aside from our 'At Health Australia' Naturally Cocoa Protein Powder) is using 'Oat Milk'.
The Oat Milk gives a creaminess I haven't found with many nut milks.
What is Oat Milk?
Oat milk has a mild, but creamy oaty flavour so if you dislike nutty-tasting milk, this might be the ideal dairy free option for you. Oat milk is high in fibre, folic acid and vitamin E. It is reported to be good for weight loss and also helps to control blood sugar levels and reduce cholesterol. Those are a few big ticks from us. Oat milk is free of lactose and cholesterol, and low in saturated fat.
I n g r e d i e n t s
1 Cup Oat Milk
1 Serve 'At Health Australia' Naturally Cocoa Protein Powder
1 tsp Cacao Powder
1 Large Frozen Banana
1 Tbsp Mayvers Nut Butter
1 tsp Cacao Nibs
H o w t o M a k e
Blend everything except the Cacao Nibs until creamy and well combined. Pour into your favourite bowl or cup and enjoy sprinkled with Cacao Nibs and any other tasty lil treasures you have in the pantry. Hmmmm.
